Cardio Glamping with Harlem Cycle

Gwell had the privilege of being one of the sponsors of Harlem Cycle’s Cardio Glamping Wellness Retreat held on Governors Island from May 13-15. Cardio Glamping is a wellness and physical health retreat created by Harlem Cycle’s founder Tammeca Rochester as an experience for wellness enthusiasts to reconnect with nature, engage with top fitness professionals, and indulge in nutritious, fresh meals and snacks.

“Harlem Cycle was born from the belief that fitness is essential, and essential to fitness is belonging.

We are pioneering a new kind of fitness community: one that values body health over body shape, high engagement over high fees, and community over competition. All with the swagger, vibe, and cultural richness of Harlem itself.”

-Harlem Cycle’s Mission Statement

Attendees had the opportunity to spend two nights on New York’s Governors Island with beautiful views of the Statue of Liberty and luxury tent accommodations all while taking in freshly prepared meals, one on one coaching sessions, cardio and yoga workouts, and various scheduled activities such as morning paint sessions and team dinners. Cardio Glamping allowed their attendees to focus on self-care, wellness and relaxation as a community. Make sure you check out Harlem Cycle’s website for more information on the next Cardio Glamping Wellness Retreat!
