We recently partnered with Keep Your City Smiling to add Gwell bites to the New York box. In doing so, we were excited to be in the company of amazing New York brands including Joe Coffee Company, Mast Chocolate and Palermo Body. It inspired us to come up with a few fun ways to use them in our daily lives.

At Gwell we are all about wellness, so we figured, what better way to get an immune and skin boost by supercharging these products with a bit of turmeric.

Add turmeric to your coffee

Add a ½ tsp to 1 tsp of your favorite turmeric spice mix to your cup of Joe Coffee.

Did you know: Adding heat to turmeric also helps to improve its solubility. Simply put, it makes it easier for you to get all of the benefits!

BRIGHTEN YOUR SKIN WITH A TURMERIC MASK

Try a quick morning facial. Cleanse with the Palermo Body coconut milk and oatmeal w/ jojoba bar followed by an easy turmeric mask. We use our sister brand Coup de Coiff Haldi Brightening Mask, but you can use a DIY also of turmeric and yogurt. The turmeric will do the work for your while you get ready for your day. In 10 minutes you will have brighter, calmer skin!

MAKE A TURMERIC SPICE BLEND TO USE WITH EVERYTHING

Be prepared. Make a ready to use mix that you can add to anything! We use this mix all the time for coffee, to golden milk, and even in cookies. Mix together turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and a dash of black pepper. There is also no specific blend you must use, just be sure to add a dash of pepper. You can create the spice blend to your own taste. If you hate cinnamon or any of the other spices, feel free to exclude them.
