Moments That Still Feel Good

There are seasons when joy feels distant, and seasons when it surprises you. This week’s Grounding Hour is a reminder that you can still find moments that feel good, even when life is heavy or uncertain. Small pleasures are not a distraction from reality. They help the body settle, soften, and remember safety.
Session 12 explores what happens when we pay attention to sensory comfort, warm memories, and the simple things that reconnect us with ourselves. We look at how the body responds to these moments, why joy sometimes feels hard to reach, and how cultural traditions have carried joy beside struggle for generations.
